Geren’s Story
Before joining United Minds, Geren was a senior leader at Edelman where she advanced client offerings and intellectual capital in business transformation, workforce communications and organizational design. While at Edelman, Geren supported a diversity of work and leaders with challenges ranging from engaging hard-to-reach workforces, to issues and crisis management support, to transformational change and functional redesign initiatives. Geren spent time on Booz Allen Hamilton’s Human Capital team where she developed leadership, talent and workforce planning strategies for the Departments of Veterans Affairs, Homeland Security, Justice, and the President’s Management Council. As part of Ketchum’s Change team, she supported clients in union and labor relations, manager communication effectiveness, and organizational diagnosis and change. Geren began her career in the arts and provides strategy and transformation counsel to arts organizations today. Geren graduated from Boston University and has her M.A. from Columbia University. She holds post-graduate certificates in Global Affairs and Change Management from New York University and Georgetown University, respectively. She has worked throughout the US, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
