Ethan’s role applies Gen AI and behavioral science to inform a client’s strategic plans. He helps clients understand how different actors use media to manipulate perception about a brand and influence public discourse. His group includes data scientists and researchers who have worked in the U.S. intelligence community and at fact-checking organizations. He partners with a network of technology firms, including a multi-year R&D relationship with narrative analytics platform Blackbird.AI.
Ethan’s clients include GM, Sanofi, Norfolk Southern, U. S. Steel, Pernod Ricard and Cigna. He advises on geopolitical conflicts, labor activism, transportation safety, public health, cyberattacks, new product launches and ESG. Before joining Weber Shandwick, Ethan worked at Hewlett-Packard on integrated digital publishing, influencer relations, media strategies and as a spokesperson.
