I made my way through dozens of historical non-fiction books
and podcasts during the pandemic. Revolutions by Mike Duncan
is my favorite.

Hermitage, France. Unless it’s winter. I love to ski in
the cold months so for that I would choose the Tyrolean Alps.

My son Aidan has an orphan disease so we raise money for
rare disease research. I’m also on the foundation board
of Lurie Children’s hospital, one of the nation’s top
children’s hospitals.

Right now, I’m a big fan of Chambers in New York. In Chicago,
I have many. When I lived in San Francisco, I always went to
Les Clos, which I’m sad to say has since closed.

It’s a three-way tie: The Wall Street Journal,
New York Times and ESPN.
