When did you start at Weber Shandwick?
I started working at Weber Shandwick in 2010 as an account executive , developing communication strategies focused on leveraging the company’s corporate profile through its CSR and Employee Engagement initiatives.
In five words or less, how would you describe your Weber Shandwick colleagues?
Collaborative, kind, smart, brave, resilient.
If you weren’t working in this industry, what would you want to do?
I would be an architect. I’m so passionate about architecture and I love walking around and traveling to see my favorite buildings in the cities.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever gotten?
“When you win, we win together. When you lose, we lose together. We are a team”, from Zé Schiavoni, our CEO in Brazil. This gives me so much confidence. I trust my team and I’m so grateful for that.
What is your most-used app on your phone?
Whatsapp by far. To connect with teammates, family and friends.
What’s your favorite thing about Sao Paulo?
How diverse it is with people from all over the world. How delicious the food is. How dynamic the city is, with events, shows, parties, exhibitions happening every single day. And yet, how it can feel like a small city in the neighborhoods.
What’s your favorite restaurant in Sao Paulo?
Many in the city center, but it would be hard to choose between “A Casa do Porco” and “Orfeu”.
What’s your favorite way to unwind in your free time?
Go for a walk with my dog Nina (Nina Simone Cirino). Take care of my plants.
Where would you love to travel in the world to gain inspiration?
Africa (South Africa, Botswana, Angola), because of my origins; Italy, because I’m from São Paulo and there is a huge Italian community in the city; and Central America, because of their culture.
Do you do any charity or volunteer work?
I support institutions that provide support and treatment for children with cancer.
What’s your favorite metaphor or phrase to use at work or in a pitch?
“Thanks a million” because the teams are always so collaborative with the new business requests (despite them usually coming in tight deadlines), and I really feel everyone tries to do their best as much as they can.
“I believe in the transforming power of the communication.”
