John’s Story
Prior to joining United Minds, John was a corporate communications and brand leader at GE. He served on the senior staff at Crotonville, GE’s global leadership institute, responsible for advancing the company’s annual investment of $1 billion in talent development worldwide. His work enabled GE to earn and maintain the #1 ranking as the World’s Top Company for Leaders. Previously, John was senior communications advisor to the CEO of TIAA, a financial services firm with $1 trillion in assets under management, and the largest private retirement system in the U.S. John broadened the CEO’s platform to encompass issues in retirement security, higher education, health care, corporate governance and regulatory reform, with major speeches to the Council on Foreign Relations, World Economic Forum, World Bank and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Previously, through his own executive communications practice, John represented clients including McKinsey & Company, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson, Time Warner and The Wall Street Journal. John graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
