Laura Gabb

Head of UK Public Affairs

Laura has extensive experience in public affairs and advocacy campaigns, with a proven consultancy track record across sectors including technology, transport (aviation and rail), energy, private healthcare and insurance. She helps clients to deliver successful public affairs initiatives, supporting them to achieve their commercial goals and build trust with stakeholders. Laura leads the UK public affairs team at Weber in London specializing in Westminster public affairs, working closely with colleagues in Glasgow and Edinburgh who specialize in Scottish devolved politics in Holyrood.

Laura’s Story

Previously a Partner at 5654 & Company, a Director at Stonehaven, and Managing Director at FTI Consulting, Laura has worked with clients including Microsoft, EDF, Drax, British Sugar, HCA Healthcare and Heathrow Airport. In her consultancy roles, she has led successful strategic public affairs programs and impactful set-piece campaigns.  



Laura also has a strong background in Conservative Party politics, having worked in both CCHQ’s press office and as an integral part of CCHQ’s digital team in the winning 2019 General Election campaign. She also worked for former Deputy Chief Whip, Anne Milton, in the UK Parliament. She is currently a member of the Women in Public Affairs Senior Advisory Committee.
