What’s the coolest (or weirdest) place a project has taken you?

Early in my career as a practicing attorney, I was sent to review medical billing records in a warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas, for a case I’d been assigned.  I was there for two weeks. There were no windows in the warehouse, but I had lots of company – mice!  Maybe it isn’t cool or weird, but it was definitely memorable.

What’s something surprising people might not know about you?

I have an 80-lb Goldendoodle named Gordon Gartrelle Rucker.  We call him “Gordy.”

Waze.  It’s the only way to survive Atlanta traffic.

Who is someone that inspires you right now?

With the world changing so rapidly – whether it’s technology or societal attitudes – I am inspired by how my parents (both in their 80s) have evolved with the times and continue to remain relevant and engaged.

Being so close to family and friends who have become family.

What’s your favorite way to unwind in your free time?

Long conversations after dinner with my family.  We often eat late because of work demands and my kids’ extracurricular activities, but we still take our time eating and talking.  Dinner lasts at least 1.5 hours, and I enjoy the uninterrupted time connecting with everyone after a long day apart.
