Joshua Wu, PhD is Executive Vice President, Corporate and Public Affairs Lead for Analytics + Intelligence at Weber Shandwick. In this role, he leads analytics-driven work across clients across major verticals (health, tech, and consumer), government agencies, nonprofits, and advocacy groups that inform data-driven communications strategies, reputation management, policy engagement, and risk assessment. He also develops AI-powered solutions that uncover actionable insights at scale and helps drive AI adoption across teams. By blending a focus on expanding AI imaginations and mindsets with intentional practicing of AI integration and creative agentic deployment, Joshua helps teams internally and externally understand and embed AI to empower their work.

Joshua’s Story

Before Weber, Joshua built and led performance analytics functions at Marina Maher Communications (MMC), where he served as Senior Vice President of Performance Analytics and brought analytics-first thinking to agency strategy and predictive measurement. He also worked at Edelman Data & Intelligence, where he blended social science and data science to translate complex insights into actionable narratives. Joshua holds a PhD in political science and statistical methodologies from the Ohio State University, a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Chicago, and degrees in economics and international studies from the American University in Washington DC.
