Weber Shandwick announced today the appointment of Edelman veteran Jordan Rittenberry as President, Weber Shandwick West and North American Tech Practice Lead.

In this role, Rittenberry will oversee Weber Shandwick’s Western region, including the Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles offices, as well as Weber Shandwick’s North America technology practice.

Rittenberry, a 17-year Edelman veteran, most recently served as General Manager of Edelman’s Bay Area office and as a Global Client Lead in the technology sector.

“In my conversations with Weber Shandwick, it became clear that this is an agency with a vision for the future and the means to execute on it,” said Rittenberry. “I’m eager to dig in and excited about the potential for us to continue to build our footprint across the West Coast and in the technology sector.”

Rittenberry previously served as Edelman’s Chairman of Middle East & Africa.

Weber Shandwick also announced today that Michael Wehman has been named President, Weber Shandwick New York. Wehman most recently served as General Manager of the office.

Wehman has led teams and engagements across a broad range of consumer, corporate and health clients, including The Coca-Cola Company, Unilever, and Haleon. Recognized for unlocking consistent growth across Weber Shandwick’s flagship office, Wehman was previously the head of Weber Shandwick’s New York consumer practice.

Rittenberry’s and Wehman’s appointments come on the heels of Edelman veteran Sheila Mulligan’s June appointment to President, Central Region.
