Gail Heimann and Chris Perry Take 2019 Web Summit Stages
For a third consecutive year, Weber Shandwick President and CEO Gail Heimann drove important conversations about the future of marketing at Web Summit in Lisbon.
In a solo presentation on the Future Societies stage, Heimann explored whether our professional quest for all things hyper-effective and relentlessly efficient is threatening or sustaining humanity – and how we can ultimately seek innovation without jeopardizing it. She also took to the Center Stage again this year in a panel session, “Marketing in 2020,” joining Burger King Chief Marketing Officer Fernando Machado and Automobili Lamborghini Chief Marketing Officer Katia Bassi to explore current and future trends in marketing.
Chief Innovation Officer Chris Perry also spoke at the conference’s new Corporate Innovation Summit.
Perry joined the Corporate Innovation Summit stage panel, “Tech secrets of the superbrands,” following his panel discussion on brand relevance earlier this year at Collision. With fellow panelists, P&G Global Chief Technology Officer Alan Boehme and Wolff Olins CEO Sairah Ashman, Perry explored the world of superbrands and dissected the technologies that enable them to connect with their audience.
