WHAT YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO

  • Dream up and execute stunning, earned-first concepts that feel native to platforms like TikTok, Instagram, X, and whatever’s next.
  • Bring the energy. We want your passion for solving creative puzzles and your can-do spirit from the first brief to the final export.
  • Use your artistic skills across a huge range of projects: branding, storyboards, campaign mockups, presentations, and eye-popping social content.
  • Jam with a whole crew of smart, collaborative people across different teams.
  • Share your work and your thinking with the team. We’re all here to make each other’s ideas better.
  • Master the brand guidelines, but know when and how to creatively push the boundaries.
  • Let’s be real: you’ll also need to crank out different versions and resizes of campaign assets. It’s part of the game.

THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

  • A killer portfolio that shows us how you think, not just what you can execute. We want to see your approach to solving problems.
  • 2+ years of art direction or design experience. We’re open to talent from any kind of creative shop: ad agencies, digital shops, content studios, you name it.
  • You’re a wizard in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and can build a deck in Keynote or PowerPoint.
  • You’re always hungry for what’s new and what’s next in design, tech, and social media.
  • Big bonus points for After Effects or other motion graphics skills.

Salary Range: $60,000 USD – $75,000 USD

Associate, Client Experience

 

What You Will Be Doing:

Our team is seeking a Senior Manager with client experience and healthcare communications expertise to serve as a counselor to our clients for one of our largest and fastest growing accounts. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic integrated communications programs, supporting overall strategy, and advising healthcare clients. You will be a conceptual thinker with exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.

In addition, you should have an agency background in healthcare communications with experience working on pharmaceutical products and/or disease education programs, as well as knowledge of the media landscape and considerations in this space. The ideal candidate will have broad interest in the full remit of healthcare communications, including social/digital, earned media, data and regulatory milestones, and unbranded disease awareness programming. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a specific interest or experience in celebrity campaigns.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage account team implementation of agreed-upon programs, ensuring quality standards are met and desired results are delivered on-budget
  • Lead project management, ensuring all activities are moving forward and are within deadlines
  • Coordinate among interdisciplinary team of research, creative, digital and media strategists
  • Develop a range of external and media materials including press releases, key message documents, pitches, social media content, etc.
  • Manage client status reports, including materials trackers, media trackers, and website analytics trackers.
  • Manage event and activation logistics in a variety of settings
  • Set and meet campaign measurement and evaluation criteria
  • Identify training and development needs of junior staff and provide opportunities that enable staff members to reach their full potential
  • Assist in financial management for clients, including development of invoices and activity reports

 What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working on multi-disciplinary (holistic) healthcare communication initiatives, ideally including disease education campaigns
  • Familiarity with data and regulatory milestone communications
  • Fluency and/or familiarity with earned, digital and social media
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between traditional public relations and the use of current online/digital technology and social media
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Experience with clients and accounts that are measurement and evaluation driven
  • Strong presentation skills, poise, and professionalism
  • Industry experience in healthcare communications and/or pharmaceuticals

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 5 years’ experience in public relations at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required)
  • The ability to manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.
  • Be a self-starter who works well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
  • BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, or in a related field

We are seeking a visionary and experienced VP, B2B Content Strategy Lead to serve as a strategic client partner and team leader for one of our largest B2B enterprise accounts. In this role, you will be the senior-most content strategist on the business, responsible for driving the overarching content vision while building and nurturing strong client relationships. You will not only oversee the entire content ecosystem—from social and web to thought leadership and sales enablement—but also lead a dedicated team of content strategists, fostering their professional growth and managing team operations, including billability and resourcing. Senior Art Director, Health 

Weber Shandwick Boston is looking for a Senior Art Director, Health to join their growing creative team and help push the craft across several high-profile healthcare accounts. They will help to spearhead the creative work alongside a team of creative directors, copywriters, and designers. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in the digital/social space and be both a conceptual thinker as well as a talented designer. 

If there’s a medium that gets people engaged in our brands’ stories, get ready to play in that space. Whether driving a big project (a multi-channel campaign) or overseeing social creative, this candidate will be expected to deliver exciting, cutting-edge, brand-focused visuals. 

The candidate must be comfortable directly engaging with clients and bringing their creative ideas to life. Working with some of the most talented copywriters and designers, this candidate must meet the following criteria: 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Help lead design across a wide range of assignments, including identity work, campaign creative, social content, video, mockups, infographics, presentations, experiential and print collateral/OOH.
  • Experience in designing for social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn and YouTube.) with an advanced understanding of best practices for creative, design, and layout.
  • Ensure all visual design adheres to existing brand guidelines.
  • Create design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across teams.
  • Help develop long-term creative plans and recommendations for client objectives. 
  • Join client meetings, brainstorms and planning sessions for ongoing projects.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with creative team colleagues, client leads and project managers
  • Cultivate an inclusive culture as a part of the team that values trust, honesty, and team accountability towards defined goals and results 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 5+ years of art direction and/or design experience in a related agency department or industry (advertising, digital, social media, publishing/content or public relations).
  • Prior healthcare/public health experience.
  • Must have a portfolio.
  • This role will be required to work onsite in our Boston office two days per week.
  • Be curious, self-motivated, hard-working, well-organized, thick skinned and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests, and deliverables.
  • Ongoing drive to learn and incorporate new and emerging techniques, trends and philosophies in design, technology, interaction and social media.
  • Knowing what makes for compelling work – be it on social platforms, in video, or in launch ideas that get talked about, reported on, and pointed to by other agencies with an “I wish we’d thought to do that” envy.
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately within all required aspects of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects and XD) as well as presentation software (PowerPoint). Understanding of print production, typography systems and layout fundamentals; any After Effects animation skills will be utilized
  • Bonus skills: illustration, photography, retouching, filmmaking, videography, editorial, animation, HTML
