Weber Shandwick is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Consumer team in our New York office.

We Are Seeking:

We’re looking for a strong, motivated, and curious Senior Manager to join our Consumer Practice, working across lifestyle and CPG brands. You will supervise big pieces of business with multiple work streams and team members, spearheading high profile, award-worthy, earned-driven integrated activations and productions. Additionally, you’ll manage day-to-day client relationships, oversee account teams and inter-agency relationships, and work with high profile celebrity talent, influencers and red-carpet events.

Other responsibilities include recommending programs and activities coordinating with client’s goals, effectively delegating projects, offering counsel to team members and allocating agency resources to match client budgets. You will also be engaged with business development, strategic program planning, analytics, media relations and the development and execution of creative concepts. Ideally, you will have consumer PR agency experience in CPG/beauty/lifestyle spaces.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 6-8 years’ experience in agency, PR/Communications space
  • Experienced ideally within the consumer or CPG space
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Management, or related field

NYC Salary range: $85,000 USD – $100,000 USD

Responsibilities: 

  • Shape and execute integrated communications strategies in partnership with agency and client teams 
  • Counsel and interact effectively with clients and leaders at client organizations 
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with top-tier media across business, national/local broadcast, multicultural and lifestyle verticals

Job description:

We are seeking a candidate who is consistently one step ahead – always anticipating client and team needs, maintaining real-time coverage trackers, and ensuring meeting materials are prepared for internal and client calls. This role requires initiative and strong attention to detail.  

The ideal candidate should be deeply immersed in the beauty industry and should have a strong understanding of how brands are activating across channels and is eager to proactively share insights and learnings that add value to our clients.

This is a dynamic, always-on account, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every task.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitor media across print, digital, and social channels for brand coverage and competitor activity
  • Prepare agendas and status sheets for all internal and client meetings including detailed call recaps
  • Assist in compiling weekly, monthly and annual reports
  • Support development of program and campaign recaps
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stylists and stylist agencies
  • Assist with product send-outs, sample coordination, and mailer development
  • Support media outreach efforts during key tentpole moments
  • Begin to build and establish media relationships by attending editor meetings, launch events and other external industry related events
  • Oversee and manage product inventory inclusive of product orders and maintain organization of the product closet
  • Support event and activation planning, execution and onsite staffing
  • Assist with vendor invoice processing and quickly learn and navigate internal financial processes
  • Identify emerging social and industry trends and proactively share relevant recommendations
  • Proactively offer insights and learnings based on media landscape, industry activity and competitor analysis

Salary range:  $55,000 USD – $60,000 USD

We Are Seeking:

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated and culturally fluent, Vice President to join our Consumer team, working across global lifestyle and CPG brands. As Vice President, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day business and spearheading high-profile, award-worthy, earned-driven integrated campaigns for some of our top client brands. This is a high-visibility leadership role in a fast-paced, integrated environment with cross-functional collaboration across channels and partners. You’ll work closely with clients, and integrated agency teams to deliver social-first, earned-led programs that drive engagement and buzz, while guiding a team of rising talent. 

What the Role Entails:

  • Lead multi-channel campaigns with an emphasis on earned media, cultural storytelling, and social/digital engagement
