If I hadn’t found my path in Human Resources, I’d say I
missed my calling as a midwife or doula. Who knows —
maybe one day!

The best career advice I’ve ever received was from my
parents – to never compromise who I am or what I stand
for just to please others.

Living in Chicago means you can fly direct to just about
anywhere — getting there on time, though, is a whole
other adventure.

Niche is my very favorite restaurant – it’s in my hometown,
Geneva, IL. A cozy spot with incredible food.

My kitchen is my favorite place to be. I bake homemade bread
each week, and when I’m not kneading dough, I’m likely making
a pie or rolling out pasta. It’s the heart of my home, with
family buzzing through and my dog always on crumb patrol!

The app I can’t live without is NYT Cooking. It’s my endless source
of kitchen inspiration, with more saved recipes than I’ll ever have time
to make.

I love to travel anywhere, but Italy always calls me back. Life moves
a little slower and I’ve yet to find a town I didn’t love. That said,
Thailand intrigues me—it’s a place I’ve never been but would
love to explore.
