Weber Shandwick was named Agency of the Year at the third annual PRWeek Purpose Awards, which celebrate activations that further positive causes and the organizations and individuals behind them. This marks the second year in a row that Weber Shandwick was named Agency of the Year at these awards.

In awarding Weber Shandwick this honor, PRWeek noted the agency’s work supporting clients in response to the pandemic, on efforts to advance diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as on corporate sustainability initiatives. The agency was also recognized for internal progress toward DE&I and for launching its Plan Vx playbook, which provides critical guidance for vaccination communications.

Through the many challenges of the past year, we’ve seen first-hand the power that companies have to make an impact on the greater good – to drive change, to support people and to work toward a more promising future. It is a huge honor for us as an agency and for our clients to be recognized by PRWeek for doing hard work that truly makes a difference.
