Role Overview

We are seeking an ambitious Account Director with a solid background in healthcare communications, and the ability to stretch in corporate communications as needed. You will lead pan-European and global communications programs for international healthcare and corporate clients, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful strategies and campaigns from our Geneva office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of over 30 experts in integrated media, content, analytics, and strategy.

Who are you?

  • Demonstrated success as an Account Director (or equivalent senior role) in a communications agency or in-house, preferably within a pharma/healthcare environment, with experience leading pan-European or global programs.
  • Solid understanding of the healthcare sector, with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling communications.
  • A strategic and analytical mindset with a knack for spotting opportunities and anticipating client needs.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
  • A collaborative leader and team player who inspires others and contributes positively to agency culture.
  • Swiss national or EU passport holder with the right to work in Switzerland – international relocation is not offered.

About the opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager/Account Director with a passion for global corporate PR & Communications. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with some of Korea’s largest international brands, crafting impactful communication strategies and delivering high-caliber PR and Communication initiatives on a global stage.

The ideal candidate is an English speaker with a strong background in global PR. This person will lead the development and execution of integrated communications strategies that strengthen the client brand’s reputation globally, with a focus on storytelling from Korea to global markets. RESPONSIBILITIES

Global Strategy Development:

  • Design and implement global corporate communication strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of international clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and market conditions.
  • Develop messaging frameworks that resonate across diverse global markets, considering cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and geopolitical factors.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure strategy consistency while allowing for regional adaptations to optimize impact in local markets.

Media Relations & Content Development:

Trend Monitoring & Strategic Insights:

  • Stay ahead of relevant issues, emerging trends, and developments in client industries to provide proactive recommendations for communication strategies.
  • Analyze competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, sharing actionable insights with clients and internal teams.
  • Use research, data, and audience insights to inform decision-making and ensure strategies align with consumer motivations and preferences.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the client or project, providing counsel on mitigation strategies and messaging approaches.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 professionals, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback, and support to help them achieve their professional goals while maintaining strong team morale.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture by ensuring open communication and alignment across US-based and international teams, adapting workflows to accommodate time zone and cultural differences.

Client Relationship Management:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Approximately 8-10 years of proven experience in corporate communications, preferably at international agencies or in-house teams with a global scope.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.
  • Demonstrated experience managing PR, communications, and marketing initiatives on a global scale, with an understanding of cross-cultural nuances.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of professionals while driving accountability and growth.

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a senior-level financial communications professional to join our growing global Financial Communications and Capital Markets practice, based in Tokyo. This is a high-impact role advising Japanese and multinational clients on complex corporate events and strategic issues including mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, restructurings, executive transitions, spin-offs, litigation, sustainability matters, regulatory developments, and investor relations.

This role is ideal for a seasoned practitioner with extensive experience in financial communications, issues management, and corporate reputation strategy—someone who thrives in high-stakes environments and can translate complex financial and regulatory information into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders in Japan and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead/support a range of financial communications and special situations, including M&A, shareholder activism, defense against short-sellers, bankruptcies, initial public offerings, series financing, as well as earnings support and other ongoing investor relations activities
  • Serve as a senior advisor to clients in Japan on a range of financial communications and capital markets matters

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong understanding of institutional and retail investor dynamics in Japan and across APAC
