Spencer is a tenured brand and business strategist, who has counseled throughout his career several CEOs and executive teams on transformations and transactions. He has extensive experience evolving iconic brands to make them more modern and relevant, as well as establishing brands for net-new companies. His expertise is in purpose, positioning, narrative development, innovation and communication.

 

For nearly a decade, Spencer served as a Partner & Principal with Ogilvy Consulting, the Creative network’s strategy and innovation arm. In this capacity, he not only led the management of the Group, but oversaw a portfolio of clients in the financial services sector, as well as FMCG. His clients included among others: American Express, Capital One, Chubb, Coca-Cola, Convera, LendingPoint, and Robert Half. Prior, Spencer spent time at Lippincott and Capgemini Consulting. The earlier part of his career was in the Political sphere, as Head of Communications for the rebuilding of the World Trade Center for the Port Authority of NY & NJ, and as chief fundraiser for Hillary Clinton’s first presidential run. Spencer is a member of the Partnership for New York, for which he was honored as a David Rockefeller Fellow in 2023.
