Mónica has more than 20 years’ experience in managing strategies and campaigns designed to influence public and political debates. She is an experienced public affairs and crisis communications specialist, with a core strength in business policy issues that impact corporate reputation and license to operate. Monica works across a variety of sectors, including technology (Microsoft, Dell, Ericsson), luxury goods (Louis Vuitton-Möet Hennessy), energy and sustainability (Trans-Adriatic Pipeline, Zero Emissions Platform, GE Aerospace) and healthcare (Sanofi, Roche, Novartis).
Before joining Weber Shandwick, Mónica worked at FTI Consulting, where she oversaw the launch of the Shale Gas Europe and Shale Gas España industry platforms, and acted as a spokesperson. She also worked for Hill & Knowlton Belgium on media relations for the European Commission’s Directorates-General Research, Joint Research Centre and Employment and Social Affairs.
