Weber Shandwick announced today the promotion of Eloi Asseline to general manager, France. He previously held the position of chief operating officer.

Prior to his role as COO, Asseline served as senior vice president in charge of Weber Shandwick’s brand marketing division in Paris. He brings more than a decade of experience in influence issues, strategic communications and social media strategy. Asseline previously worked for CLM BBDO, M&C Saatchi GAD and LEWIS agencies before joining Weber Shandwick. He holds a master’s degree from NEOMA Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Rouen.
