Weber Shandwick Names Sheila Mulligan President, Central Region

On August 7, 2023, communications marketing veteran Sheila Mulligan will join Weber Shandwick as our new President, Central Region.    

 

In this role, Mulligan will bring together key operations and expertise within Weber Shandwick – leading a broad portfolio of clients and delivering strategic, reputation-building communications solutions across Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis and St. LouisMulligan previously served as managing director of Edelman’s U.S. Corporate Brand + Reputation practice.

Mulligan brings over 20 years of experience across corporate reputation management, transformation advisory, media relations, executive positioning and corporate storytelling. She has diverse industry experience representing clients in both the public and private sectors including industrials, financial services, retail and food and beverage. Additionally, Mulligan has led C-level advisory, thought leadership and corporate brand programs for clients across multiple industries and the Fortune 500 including brands like McKinsey & Co., Harley-Davidson, Cummins, Kohl’s and Nissan.

Prior to her stint at Edelman, Mulligan worked for Chicago-based public affairs firm Jasculca/Terman & Associates (JT). Her political-event work with JT included the Clinton Presidential Library Opening, the American Democracy Institute Chicago and Philadelphia Summits and Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s campaign launch. She also sits on the Board of Trustees for Chicago Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum.
