Changi Airport Group Appoints Weber Shandwick Agency of Record 

SINGAPORE, 25 August 2011– Weber Shandwick today announced it has been appointed as the public relations agency of record for Changi Airport Group (CAG), operator of Singapore’s award-winning Changi Airport. The appointment, which concludes a competitive tender, sees Weber Shandwick selected on a two-year contract from 1 August 2011.

CAG manages all commercial and operational activities at Changi Airport, which, over its 30-year history, has become the world’s most awarded airport. CAG has appointed Weber Shandwick to help promote the airport globally as Asia’s leading aviation and retail hub, and to support the airport’s crisis communications plans. The firm will also contribute to special events and projects and provide strategic counsel for the program.
