A dynamic role that combines traditional earned media storytelling skills with finding and engaging influencers who can authentically tell a brand’s story!! Are you chronically online? Do you love discovering new creators?  Do you know how to find one who perfectly aligns a with particular lifestyle?  Do you know how to write a pitch to media?  This role is perfect for someone who consumes news, online chatter and has a deep understanding of the influencers and their respective communities.

 

Are you a storyteller, who knows what’s needed to tell story, or who might be able to tell our story for us?

 

This is a role that straddles two disciplines that are now more and more one discipline, traditional and new media (ie influencers/creators).

As the newest member of our collaborative team, you’ll bring your ✨passion✨ for all things earned media relations and influencers to make a real impact. You’ll work closely with both senior and junior staff across multiple teams, supporting day-to-day tasks for leading vehicle brands. We promise you are going to learn a ton, and we’ll have fun while we do it—all in service of helping our clients move their businesses forward. We hope you’ll teach us something too.

What You’ll Do All Day:

  • Create: Craft internal and external communications with clients and influencers that are clear, engaging, and strategic.
  • Research: Discover top and emerging influencers to identify the best fits for our clients and their brands.
  • Engage: Share bold, innovative ideas in brainstorms and team meetings.
  • Monitor: Track influencers’ performance and ensure positive online sentiment, reporting on final campaign metrics and insights.
  • Learn: Explore new social media trends, keep clients informed, and develop your skills by working with some of the best in the industry.

Who Are We Looking For?
We’re searching for a proactive team player with an insatiable curiosity for news, storytelling, influencers, research and a desire to learn the ropes at an agency. The ideal candidate is an incredible multi-tasker who doesn’t shy away from a challenge and knows how to write. Bonus points if you already have some professional experience in social and influencer strategy under your belt.

  • Detail-Oriented: Clear, precise, and on-point—always.
  • Technical: You know your way around Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. You know the ins and outs of social platforms like TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and YouTube, and always keep your eye out for emerging platforms. Experience with CreatorIQ and Adobe Creative Suite? Even better!
  • Dynamic: You excel in fast-paced environments and are ready to take on whatever comes your way.
  • Spark: You understand what makes you stand out—and you bring it.

Requirements:
Rising senior or soon-to-be college graduate

  • Understanding of earned media strategy and influencer strategy.
  • Resilient mindset, deep curiosity, and a healthy sense of humor
  • Availability: summer internship – 40 hours a week

Detroit Salary range: $20.00 – $20.00
