You are a motivated PR professional with at least 2 solid years of PR agency experience with tertiary qualifications (PR or Communications related).

Key responsibilities:

  • Support account leads in managing client relationships on a day-to-day basis, and implement local and regional communication programmes together with team members
  • Monitor and track client, competitor, industry and macro news, and prepare coverage reports
  • Provide media relations support – conducting research, building target media lists, drafting media materials, pitching to journalists, and managing media relationships and opportunities
  • Demonstrate ability to develop strategies/creative platforms that simultaneously leverage traditional and new media for clients
  • Prepare timely team and client updates on all stages of project processes; prepare accurate and thorough conference call or client meeting recaps
  • Assist and contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans and programme recommendations for clients, developing budgets, generating recommendations and creating presentations
  • Identify opportunities for agency/team learning and develop tools/suggestions to expand agency knowledge and understanding of digital communications
  • Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success
  • Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership on executional issues specific to assigned programs

 

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of PR experience or relevant industry experience, preferably at a PR agency or in-house communications team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Dedication to details and sense of responsibilities
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work under tight timelines
  • International outlook or experience favorably considered

The Role: 

 

We’re looking for an experienced Account Director to client lead an integrated creative global campaign with the support of a passionate and high-performing team. 

 

What will you be doing? 

 

  • Drive and lead the day to day running of the client relationship to deliver a global campaign across multiple markets. 
  • Provide strategic counsel, working lock step with strategic lead. 
  • Lead the delivery of creative development of media and channel strategies, story development and partnering with our creative producers for delivery.  
  • Communicate expectations/goals to team on an ongoing basis, helping to keep team motivated by communicating clear tasks and actions

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manager, with min 5 years experience in tech communications to join our dynamic team in Seoul. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing and executing communication strategies, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Our team in Korea work with some of the largest international and local businesses and this is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get more experience working on large-scale global communications projects with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Media and Communications

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with clients’ business objectives
  • Responsible for handling issues and crisis management for clients

  • Knowledge of media relations and experience pitching to journalists
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills that bring your ideas to life through explanations that engage and excite internal and external audiences
  • Flawless attention to detail with a proven ability to manage full project lifecycles from brief to delivery and measurement
  • Enthusiasm for strategic planning, creative ideation, new business development and long-term client partnerships
  • Understand the elements that make a story exciting, what brands are doing in the press and on social platforms, and what they should do next
  • A team player who can collaborate with a range of people to devise the best approach to the work in hand and bring your team along with you throughout the journey
  • Fluency in English and Korean is essential
  • Immediate availability is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and PR software tools
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
