KRC interns work directly with project teams assisting with research design, execution, and analysis. All KRC Research internships are paid and include extensive training opportunities. About KRC Research
KRC Research is a leading global strategic market research firm. KRC specializes in qualitative and quantitative public opinion research and analytics to drive strategy, start conversations, and measure success. Qualifications
- Strong preference for those who are a recent college graduate, graduate student, or current college senior.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 30+ hours per week, with a strong preference for those who can work full-time (40 hours per week). This internship will begin in September and go through December.
- Must have superior analytical and writing skills, be a proactive communicator, and possess a keen eye for detail.
- Strong preference for those with previous internship/work experience. (Experience in opinion research is not required.)
- Should have an interest in market research including work with data, analytics, or data visualization.

AI & Analytics Intern (Summer 2025)
Join our team as an AI & Analytics Intern to drive the integration and formalization of AI best practices across our PR analytics, advisory, and product development teams. You’ll work directly with our analytics and innovation teams, experimenting with the latest AI agents and tools, developing systematic approaches to prompt engineering, and building scalable processes for both core deliverables and novel applications. This unique opportunity places you at the forefront of formalizing AI best practices for analyzing client documents, media conversations, audience personas, and outcome measurement, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI, academic training in AI, and real-world PR application.
The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science, machine learning, or AI-related fields, have hands-on experience testing prompts and workflows across AI platforms, and is curious about ways that AI can be embedded within PR, communications, and analytics work. Interest and experience across at least one PR discipline (multichannel media analyses, crisis, influencer, corporate reputation, brand marketing, creative, strategy, analytics, etc.) is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with analytics and innovation teams to document how AI is incorporated within existing workflows, formalize methodologies, iterate prompts to incorporate feedback from human reviewers, and create step-by-step guides
- Test robustness of AI-powered findings across prompts, platforms, and presets through prompt-based and API interfaces
- Translate the implications and impact of technical nuances and ‘under-the-hood’ model calibrations for non-technical teams
- Generate use case summaries, efficacy benchmarks, and case studies
- Monitor and share information on emerging trends, frontier AI tools, solutions, and agents, particularly those with applications in PR
Qualifications:
- Academic training in computer science, large language models (LLMs), or AI-related technical fields
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with natural language processing (NLP) concepts, APIs, code libraries, model evaluation, and automation tools
- Interest in, and ideally academic classes or experience in at least one PR discipline (multichannel media analyses, crisis, influencer, corporate reputation, brand marketing, creative, strategy, analytics, etc.)
- Strong interest in collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams focused on AI application and deployment within PR and communication domains
- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and methodologies
- Exceptional attention to detail in documenting, annotating, and markdowns of scripts, prompts, and technical instructions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Vice President, Research
Job Summary
KRC Research is seeking a Vice President (VP) to join our Washington, DC team. VPs are senior leaders at KRC, responsible for driving business growth, leading large and complex research engagements, and managing high-performing teams. This role combines strategic client leadership with a strong focus on business development, ensuring KRC continues to expand its impact and reputation across the sectors in which we work.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, market research, social science, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 12+ years of market research experience, ideally in an agency setting
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods, including data analytics
- Demonstrated success in new business development, including securing substantial revenue through proposals and pitches
- Strong comprehension of healthcare, financial, agriculture, tech, CPG & consumer sectors. Healthcare expertise a plus
- Proven ability to lead teams and develop talent at all levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client presentations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with research and analytics software preferred
- Willingness to travel for business
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Lead efforts to secure substantial new business revenue through self-generated leads, writing large proposals, and leading in-person pitches
- Cultivate new revenue streams by identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts and expanding into new industries or services
- Coach team members to become independent revenue generators
Client Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior clients, providing strategic counsel that extends beyond research to broader business challenges
- Build deep client relationships across the IPG network, proactively identifying opportunities to expand partnerships
Research Leadership
- Oversee large-scale and high-profile research projects from conception through final presentation, ensuring strategic alignment with client objectives
- Guide teams in developing research designs, survey questionnaires, analysis plans, and reporting strategies for complex projects
- Deliver actionable insights through visually compelling reports and presentations
Team Management
- Manage and mentor Directors and other senior staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring high levels of engagement and performance
- Ensure project teams are productive, engaged, and delivering work on time and within budget
Firm Building
- Play a leadership role in firm-building initiatives such as thought leadership, marketing efforts, or new product development
