About the Apprenticeship
This is a full-time apprenticeship. You’ll work four days per week with your team and dedicate one day per week to your formal study, leading to a recognised Level 3 Data & Insights For Business Decisions qualification. We offer a hybrid working model, with a mix of remote and in-office collaboration.
What will you be doing?
As an Analytics Apprentice, you’ll help turn numbers into stories. You’ll support the team with research, analysis, and reporting, learning how to apply data to real client challenges and campaigns.
You might find yourself:
- Collecting and analysing data to help guide decision-making
- Creating visual reports and dashboards for clients
- Monitoring campaign performance on digital and social media platforms
- Researching audiences, trends, and competitors
- Supporting new business pitches with insights and stats
- Learning about tools like Excel, Power BI, and Google Analytics

Senior Manager, Analytics
We are recruiting a Senior Analytics Manager who is experienced and passionate about using analytics to inform and empower effective communications campaigns for clients. This person will be skilled in operationalizing client questions into smart measurement research and translating best-in-class analytics findings into actionable insights that inform client’s communication strategies. This person would have the opportunity to work with corporate clients across healthcare, tech, and other sectors focusing on corporate reputation, issue management, and public affairs. Day to day responsibilities include managing and leading delivery of earned and social listening, leveraging AI-powered tools to sustainably scale new insight discovery, ensuring production and delivery of high cadence (daily and weekly) client deliverables that integrate insights from various data streams, and doing quick analyses to respond to new business and client crises. Other responsibilities include the formalization of insights deliverables, conducting data integrity checks of varied data streams and deliverables, consolidating AI research best practices, and translation of data findings into accessible insights for different partners. This position reports to the head of the analytics team in DC and will join a 12 person strong analytics team.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with analytics teams to service client research and analytics requests, design the approach, lead a team through earned and social media analyses, and answer questions from internal and external stakeholders
- Test and deploy AI-powered analytical tools to analyze client and publicly available data
- Manage workloads of teams to ensure delivery of compelling analytics reports and insights that empower client to understand trends and actionable implications of analyses
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Maintain strong knowledge of both well-established and new-to-market digital marketing analytics tools and platforms; specifically syndicated research and social listening platforms.
- Evangelize smart data analytics that inform data-driven decision-making internally and externally with clients and other agency partners
- Develop and apply strategic measurement frameworks to uncover insights and takeaways from data across earned, social, owned, and other media sources.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise and experience translating data and research into strategic insights and recommendations
- 5+ years relevant full-time experience as an independent contributor and 2+ years managing direct report(s)
- Experience engaging and collaborating with clients and internal teams with agency or matrixed analytics team
- Experience in social and earned listening, AI-powered analytics, integration of insights from multi-channel analyses, campaign performance analyses, and measurement of real-world impact
- Experience analyzing and synthesizing data from first-party and third-party sources
- Ability to work independently and be a collaborative team player who brings unique analytics skills to large client teams
- Desire and capacity to take full ownership of work tracks, manage complicated deadlines and deliverable processes, nurture client relationships, collaborate with strategy and creative teams, and mentor junior analytics staff

Vice President, Research
Job Summary
KRC Research is seeking a Vice President (VP) to join our Washington, DC team. VPs are senior leaders at KRC, responsible for driving business growth, leading large and complex research engagements, and managing high-performing teams. This role combines strategic client leadership with a strong focus on business development, ensuring KRC continues to expand its impact and reputation across the sectors in which we work.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, market research, social science, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 12+ years of market research experience, ideally in an agency setting
- Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods, including data analytics
- Demonstrated success in new business development, including securing substantial revenue through proposals and pitches
- Strong comprehension of healthcare, financial, agriculture, tech, CPG & consumer sectors. Healthcare expertise a plus
- Proven ability to lead teams and develop talent at all levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client presentations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with research and analytics software preferred

We Are Seeking:
We are seeking a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mind to help pull and analyze data, and extract deep insights using the approaches, systems and tools we are designing in-house and have licensed from third parties. You will be able to leverage data to uncover insights and tell compelling stories.
The Senior Marketing Analyst will join the team to focus on delivering insightful and impactful analytics core to the marketing and communications objectives of our clients.
The position will directly report to and work with the Toronto office but may support teams across all North American practice areas. This position will be dedicated to several of Weber Shandwick’s largest and most important client relationships.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Work with Global Intelligence teammates to create visually compelling reporting and insights that allow client to easily evaluate communications, media and/or site performance relative to business objectives.
- Team up with data scientists and senior intelligence leads to develop reporting, articulating insights and building narratives that move internal and external audiences to act on our recommendations.
- Leverage a variety of descriptive and inferential statistical methods to analyze data from multiple online sources.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to infuse all aspects of the work with data-driven insights and measurement.
- Fully utilize tools and platforms designed to automate and accelerate data collection, integration and analysis. Examples: Google Analytics, Domo, Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.
- Interrogate multiple sources of information/data to look for trends within social and earned media, using tools such as Talkwalker, Cision, Brandwatch, Quid, and Trendkite.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and execute media and siteside A/B tests.
- Manage reporting tasks and data flows for media, site and social listening insights and reporting.
- Evangelize the use of data to inform decision-making at all levels internally and externally.
- Derive insights from data to create a compelling narrative that moves internal and external audiences to act on our recommendations.
- Educate non-technical account team members on key requests and analysis process.
- Manage and build relationships with clients and internal client experience teams
- Participate in business development activities
Basic Qualifications
- Strong interest and capacity to translate data and research into strategic insights and recommendations
- Passion for working with data and deriving insights to answer client business questions.
- Experience with social listening tools such as Talkwalker, Quid, Brandwatch, and Trendkite is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools including but not limited to: Tableau, Google Data Studio, Domo, Excel, etc.
- Able to leverage scripting to automate analyses, data cleansing or data integration tasks.
- Experience with relational databases and statistical analysis/programming languages such as SAS, SQL, R or Python is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree with major in business or STEM preferred, Masters is a plus.
- 4-5 years relevant full-time experience; preferably in Marketing Science, Marketing Analytics, Data Science or Performance Marketing fields.
- Ability to work independently and in an integrated team setting.
- Strong communication (written and presentation) skills.
- Commitment to learning and the drive to take initiative.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort with working in and contributing to a fast-paced, team environment.
