Our New York office is seeking a dynamic and media-savvy Senior Associate to join our Integrated Media Team, supporting leading beauty brands. The ideal candidate will have excellent media relationships and the ability to develop and execute effective media strategies, while demonstrating a high level of initiative and creativity as they proactively identify new opportunities to elevate their brands. This candidate will be an articulate presenter with exceptional writing and communication skills, proficient in media analysis, and have a solid understanding of PR, social media, and influencer marketing.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and target audience, while working with strategists and creative team members to deliver solutions that meet program objectives
- Lead earned media efforts, consistently securing impactful coverage across top-tier beauty, lifestyle, and consumer outlets
- Support in the development and execution of media strategies that drive visibility, cultural relevance, and brand affinity
- Proactively pitch media, identifying unique storytelling opportunities that align with brand priorities and trends
- Monitor beauty and pop culture trends, ensuring our brands stay ahead of the conversation
- Craft compelling media materials, including press releases, fact sheets, messaging documents, Q&As, and creative pitches
- Support key beauty moments and brand activations, including tentpole events and product launches
- Collaborate with integrated teams, including influencer, social, and creative, to drive multi-channel campaign success
- Maintain day-to-day earned media communications with key client stakeholders, keeping them informed on industry trends and media opportunities
- Track and analyze media coverage, delivering insights that inform future strategy
- Serve as a mentor and role model for team members
- Participate in office-wide initiatives, seminars and meetings to further professional learning and development
- Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business

What You Bring:
- 3+ years of PR/media relations experience, preferably in an agency environment with prior beauty, lifestyle, and/or consumer brand experience
- Established relationships with beauty and lifestyle media (print, digital, and broadcast)
- Strong storytelling and media relations skills, with a proven track record of securing press coverage
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience working on integrated campaigns that include social and influencer marketing
- Passion for beauty, pop culture, and media trends
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and client expectations

Salary range: $64,400.00 – $70,000.00

We are seeking a Sr. Manager who has a strong background and interest in account management and earned media-related work with a foundation of skills pitching and securing top-tier, tech and vertical press, including broadcast and podcasts. Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and target audience, and work with sr. media members, strategists and creative team members to deliver solutions that meet program objectives
- Monitor media outlets, understand industry issues that directly and indirectly affect the client, and analyze and distill meaningful insights from media coverage
- Generate story ideas and topic angles, draft media materials, and pitch media to land earned coverage
- Source and place earned media results on behalf of the client – this includes identifying appropriate contacts, writing pitches, drafting media lists, making follow up calls, etc.
- Maintain real-time understanding of tech news and trends and support creative ideation for evergreen opportunities on a consistent basis
- Proactively seek relationships with journalists on behalf of clients and stay current on new and existing media coverage, as well as reporter moves and how to leverage for relationship building
- Serve as a role model to team members
- Participate in office-wide initiatives, seminars and meetings to further professional learning and development
- Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business as needed

What you’ll do all day:
- Create: Craft written communications including media materials, compelling social content, memos, and more
- Research: Examine brands, industry trends, and various issues using various resources
- Analyze: Answer questions, provide insights, and propose recommendations using quantitative and qualitative data
- Engage: Share big ideas in brainstorms and with teams
- Plan: Assist in event coordination and logistics
- Hustle: Pitch stories to media, develop media lists, track placements, etc.
- Monitor: Track brands and issues in traditional and social media and analyze conversations; draft reports summarizing conversation to inform client strategies
