What you’ll do all day:

  • Create: Craft written communications including media materials and compelling social content
  • Research: Analyze brands using various resources
  • Engage: Share big ideas in brainstorms and with teams
  • Plan: Assist in event coordination and logistics
  • Hustle: Pitch stories to media, develop media lists, track placements, etc.
  • Monitor: Track brands in traditional and social media

 

What we’re looking for from you:

  • Thinking: Do it out of the box. Actually, it’s best if you’re wholly unfamiliar with the concept of boxes
  • Digital: Know all the old school and the latest social media platforms, what brands are doing on them and what they should do next
  • Communication: Speak, write and edit succinctly and compellingly
  • Management: Meet deadlines, put out fires and multi-task. Work fast, and work well
  • Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering clear and precise work is a must
  • Technical: Know Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Familiarity with platforms like Hootsuite, Muck Rack, Cision, Adobe Creative Suite, a plus
  • Dynamic: Ability to work in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Spark: Understand what sets you apart

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate must be a college graduate by start of internship
  • Availability: 40 hours a week from February to June

 

Missouri Salary Range: $20.00 – $20.00

We’re currently seeking a Associate, B2B Marketing to join our team. The Associate operates efficiently within a group, executes assigned tasks independently, and is able to handle multiple projects/clients at a time. This individual will be responsible for initiatives across marketing, lead generation, social, and corporate accounts. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the execution of digital projects with the primary goal of achieving and exceeding clients’ marketing objectives
  • Work with creative team to provide briefing materials to support the creation of digital creative
  • Update status documents and project trackers on a regular basis
  • Liaison with media team to finalize digital media documents and coordinate the delivery of assets
  • Communicate to client, account teams and creative teams on project developments, timelines and results
  • Liaison between a cross-functional project team, which includes Web Development, Creative, Paid Media, and Analytics

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated transferrable skills; 1-2 years related professional experience
  • Understanding of digital marketing and advertising
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience and knowledge in Digital Marketing is required
  • Experience working with project managers, creatives, and web developers

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Be a demonstrated self-starter and work well within a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
  • Have excellent organization and time management skills
  • Have a passion and experience for digital media and marketing while staying ahead of the curve on industry developments
  • Have strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Must feel comfortable learning new systems and tools
  • Have content management experience (eg- CMS, ESP)
  • Experience activating paid media or email campaigns a plus 
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
  • Basic scoping and financial management skills

 

Skills/Platforms:

  • Microsoft Office (experience supporting the development of presentations)
  • Web platforms and engagement tools including but not limited to WordPress, Wix, HubSpot, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, Drupal, Sitecore, etc.
  • Social media platforms and community management tools including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Facebook OpenGraph and Insights, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, TweetDeck, Adobe Photoshop

We’re looking for a passionate brand enthusiast and strong Account Director to join our Consumer Practice, working across a few of America’s most iconic consumer health brands. You will be responsible for playing a critical role in leading breakthrough activations that earn attention and helping to create truly fun and unique social and influencer-led campaigns. In this role, you will be responsible for coaching, inspiring and motivating a high performing team while exceeding expectations for our clients.

 

In this role, you’ll be tasked with overseeing account programming while collaborating closely with our creative and influencer teams to advance programming and achieve business objectives both internally and externally.   •  At least 7 years of experience in agency, PR/Communications space
  •  Experienced in account management across Integrated Media Strategy, Influencer Campaigns, and Media Relations, ideally within the consumer health or CPG space
  •  Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, Business Management, or related field

The Weber Shandwick Boston Office is currently seeking a Vice President for its Healthcare Practice, focused on corporate healthcare.

The VP is responsible for managing client and inter-agency relationships, playing a critical role in shaping the future and long-term success of our Health Practice.  This person in this role will also be a key leader in the Boston Health team. The VP will be responsible for all aspects of a client relationship and account team. Responsibilities include recommending programs and activities coordinating with client’s goals, effectively delegating projects, offering counsel to team members and allocating agency resources to match client budgets. VPs are also engaged with business development, strategic program planning and the development of creative concepts. The ideal candidate will have corporate communications experience with a proven track record of managing reputation campaigns within the healthcare space.
