Als PR & Digital Communication Consultant bij Weber Shandwick Nederland werk je – in geïntegreerde teams – voor meerdere merken aan interessante PR & communicatie opdrachten. Als internationaal en full-service PR- en communicatieadviesbureau helpen we onze klanten merkreputaties te bouwen en ondersteunen we hen met online en offline communicatie op zowel merk- als productniveau. Wat breng je mee?

  • HBO en/of WO denkniveau
  • Je hebt een paar jaar ervaring in PR en/of digital
  • Ervaring aan bureauzijde en/of journalistiek is een sterke pré
  • Je hebt in het verleden ervaring opgedaan met mediabenadering en hebt een medianetwerk opgebouwd.
  • Je bent goed op de hoogte van de online en social mogelijkheden voor merken en volgt media en influencers op de voet. Je analyseert culturele ontwikkelingen, trends in de verschillende sectoren en herkent kwesties die direct en indirect van invloed kunnen zijn op jouw klanten
  • Ervaring met het gebruiken van social media tools en de Business Managers van deze tools (voornamelijk META en LinkedIn) is een pré

  • Nederlands als moedertaal en goed zakelijk Engels (schrijven en spreken) zijn een must

Weber Shandwick is seeking a talented Vice President, B2B Digital to join our team!  

In our hybrid model, we’re looking for colleagues energized about new, highly flexible ways of working, with a mix of remote and onsite work. This role will be a key contributor to client partnerships in Baltimore and in offices across our North America network, particularly in Washington, DC. 

We are seeking a leader who is passionate about all things digital and ready to bring that energy to our high-performance, collaborative team. A successful Vice President candidate will have a background in digital strategy, and experience managing integrated projects including websites, social, mobile and/or email campaigns. Above all, you love working with clients and solving their challenges. 

You will work closely with senior and junior staff members across several teams to provide counsel and manage day-to-day work in a client-facing capacity. On any given day, you could be working on marketing automation strategy, content development, mapping user journeys, liaising with the client on a paid campaign, and/or helping to launch a podcast.  

The ideal candidate should have a passion for digital innovation and telling brand stories across digital platforms. To be successful in this role, this individual has a suite of digital solutions or background that includes ideating digital content, analyzing results and developing digital-specific project plans. The candidate will have the ability to successfully collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with responsibility across all aspects of the work we do – from helping to build digital strategies to constructing efficient nurture journeys and concepting content production.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Development and implement fully integrated strategies for major campaigns, product launches and digital assets for the world’s biggest brands with a mix of paid, owned and earned programs 
  • Execute digital engagement campaigns for top-tier clients using marketing automation tools, especially for audiences with long sales cycles 
  • Conduct research for various deliverables, such as: market landscape, persona, competitor, content, and target audiences 
  • Serve as a lead digital strategist for multiple clients and internal functions 
  • Brainstorm and pitch compelling ideas for performance marketing campaigns and projects  
  • Inform the development of creative and editorial assets to resonate with priority audiences and ensure channels are being used in high-value ways 
  • Manage multiple projects at various stages simultaneously, while managing account budgets and staffing  
  • Oversee and work with internal teams on editorial planning, content development, paid media, monitoring/analytics, and ongoing social strategy 
  • Support new business development efforts 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 10 – 12 years’ experience 
  • Previous experience with a digital marketing or digital agency strongly preferred 
  • Experience within energy, technology, manufacturing, healthcare/pharma, or similar verticals 
  • Proven expertise in B2B and/or integrated digital campaigns 
  • Experience with B2B automation platforms and MarTech tools (eg- Salesforce, Marketo, Pardot, etc.) 
  • Experience working with creative and/or technical teams 
  • Success in participating in the new business process 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Familiarity and comfort working with senior-level clients as well as integrated agency teams 
  • Experience in managing/providing oversight for junior or mid-level team members

  • Deep experience within cross-channel digital marketing strategies, working closely with different teams including creative, media, planning and PR 
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics, measurement and performance-driven insights 
  • Experience within B2B marketing (specifically in tech, healthcare, manufacturing, energy, finance or higher education, etc.) or relevant growth/performance marketing experience 
  • Background in demand gen, lead gen, sales enablement, ABM and email marketing 
  • Keen interest in staying current with industry trends and updates that directly and indirectly affect our clients and our digital practice

Salary range: $113,000 – $150,000
