We are seeking a skilled Manager, with min 5 years experience in tech communications to join our dynamic team in Seoul. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, developing and executing communication strategies, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Our team in Korea work with some of the largest international and local businesses and this is a great opportunity for someone wanting to get more experience working on large-scale global communications projects with global stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Media and Communications
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with clients’ business objectives
- Responsible for handling issues and crisis management for clients
- Manage all aspects of client projects, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables
- Act as key contact for internal account staff to address issues and queries
- Train and motivate team members
- Manage account staff group profitability
- Contribute to performance reviews
- Create opportunities for team members to enhance growth with agency
- Attend account reviews and staff meetings – provide ongoing communications and feedback
- Ensure account team members adhere to agency time reporting and financial guidelines
- Involved in staffing of team including reviewing resumes and interviewing candidates and product of client
- Deal with the crisis and major issue management
Client
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Keep client programs on schedule and ensure all deadliness are met
- Earn the confidence of mid-to-senior level client contacts and other executives with a client’s organization
- Plan and implement programs; forecast and manage budgets, profitability and receivables for new and existing clients
- Proactively handle client problems quickly and adeptly
- Contribute to and promote business development by counseling clients
- Develop and deliver client presentations
- Actively participate in new business initiatives including taking a lead role in research and scoping of new business opportunities as requested.
- Generate new business from existing clients and new clients by developing programs, making credentials presentations, presenting program recommendations and pursuing new business leads
Team Management

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- 5-8 years of experience in PR account management, preferably in corporate communications
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Knowledge of media relations and experience pitching to journalists
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills that bring your ideas to life through explanations that engage and excite internal and external audiences
- Flawless attention to detail with a proven ability to manage full project lifecycles from brief to delivery and measurement
- Enthusiasm for strategic planning, creative ideation, new business development and long-term client partnerships
- Understand the elements that make a story exciting, what brands are doing in the press and on social platforms, and what they should do next
- A team player who can collaborate with a range of people to devise the best approach to the work in hand and bring your team along with you throughout the journey
- Fluency in English and Korean is essential
- Immediate availability is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office and PR software tools
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

About the opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager/Account Director with a passion for global corporate PR & Communications. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with some of Korea’s largest international brands, crafting impactful communication strategies and delivering high-caliber PR and Communication initiatives on a global stage.
The ideal candidate is an English speaker with a strong background in global PR. This person will lead the development and execution of integrated communications strategies that strengthen the client brand’s reputation globally, with a focus on storytelling from Korea to global markets. This role requires a deep understanding of international media dynamics, cross-market coordination, and a strong ability to translate complex business and technology narratives into compelling, earned-first communications. Previous experience leading a large, multi-market client—preferably in the technology sector—is strongly preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Global Strategy Development:
- Design and implement global corporate communication strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of international clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and market conditions.
- Develop messaging frameworks that resonate across diverse global markets, considering cultural nuances, consumer behavior, and geopolitical factors.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure strategy consistency while allowing for regional adaptations to optimize impact in local markets.
- Identify and integrate new tools, platforms, and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of communication strategies on a global level.
Media Relations & Content Development:
- Oversee the creation of press materials, including press releases, executive speeches, scripts, and media pitches, ensuring high-quality and strategically impactful outputs.
- Cultivate strong relationships with media outlets and journalists across key markets, leveraging these connections to secure high-impact media coverage.
- Ensure content development meets the demands of digital-first audiences, including social-first stories, multimedia formats, and viral-ready campaigns.
Trend Monitoring & Strategic Insights:
- Stay ahead of relevant issues, emerging trends, and developments in client industries to provide proactive recommendations for communication strategies.
- Analyze competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, sharing actionable insights with clients and internal teams.
- Use research, data, and audience insights to inform decision-making and ensure strategies align with consumer motivations and preferences.
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact the client or project, providing counsel on mitigation strategies and messaging approaches.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 professionals, providing clear direction, ongoing feedback, and support to help them achieve their professional goals while maintaining strong team morale.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture by ensuring open communication and alignment across US-based and international teams, adapting workflows to accommodate time zone and cultural differences.
- Encourage knowledge-sharing within the team to leverage best practices and regional insights, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality client work.
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as a main point of contact for global clients, fostering productive relationships through consistent communication and proactive support.

- Seek opportunities to expand client scopes of work, providing clients with innovative, value-driven solutions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Approximately 8-10 years of proven experience in corporate communications, preferably at international agencies or in-house teams with a global scope.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.
- Demonstrated experience managing PR, communications, and marketing initiatives on a global scale, with an understanding of cross-cultural nuances.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of professionals while driving accountability and growth.
- Strong consultative skills with the ability to provide thoughtful counsel to global clients and teams.
- Skilled in building and maintaining effective client relationships at all levels.
- Industry experience within technology sectors is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience working in PR or marketing abroad, with exposure to diverse global markets.

Manager - Senior Manager, Healthcare

As a Manager / Senior Manager, you will be an integral contributor to our Healthcare team, working hands-on with our globally known pharmaceutical and healthcare clients to ensure a smooth and positive client experience.
What You Will Do:
- Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and target audiences and work collaboratively with strategists and creative team members to deliver solutions that meet program objectives;
