Weber Shandwick is looking for a dynamic Creative Director with a mind for helping big brands and corporations navigate the modern world of media (paid, earned, and owned). This candidate is a highly conceptual strategic thinker, guiding award-winning campaigns across both corporate and consumer sectors. You will lead creative development while driving engagement within the earned, digital, and social media landscapes. This role requires a visionary leader who can seamlessly balance the nuances of corporate communication with the energetic creativity of consumer-focused projects. The Creative Director must have excellent presentation and client-facing skills along with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once. They are the consummate collaborator and comfortable working within fluid team structures, working both behind the scenes on big ideas, and managing and mentoring the work of assigned junior talent. This candidate will be responsible for developing campaigns for corporate and consumer-focused work, and contributing to new business efforts as well.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ideate and Execute earned and social first creative activations
- Generate corporate narratives for companies, for both internal and external buyers
- Work directly with C-suite to mine for stories and opportunities
- Liaise with client teams to ensure alignment with client objectives
- Collaborate and concept across integrated teams and platforms
- Foster a culture of creative innovation, excellence, and accountability
- Mentor staff, receive and provide constructive feedback
- Remain current, sharing industry best practices, trends, and techniques
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years’ experience in Creative Director role within a creative agency
- Experience in big ideas, brand activations, scripts, social content, and creative writing
- Experience in digital (social, content, video, media, influencer)
- Experience delivering creative campaigns for PR (earned, owned and paid strategies)

Illinois Salary range: $143,000 – $190,000

Salary: $141,170-$170,00/year
IPG DXTRA, Inc. (d/b/a Weber Shandwick) is seeking a VP, Analytics to work with Analytics & Intelligence teammates and manage a team to create visually compelling reporting and insights that allow client to easily evaluate paid, earned, social and owned media relative to business objectives, and mentor junior team members. This position will be based in our New York City office on a hybrid schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with Nexus, Product and Data Science team to develop client-facing marketing analysis solutions and products, while seeking opportunities for business growth.
- Develop report structure, data visualization and insights to deliver strategic recommendations, both internally and client-facing. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Maintain strong knowledge of both well-established and new-to-market digital marketing analytics tools and platforms, and use that knowledge to continuous inform and enhance the work.
- Work with team of business analysts to interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques, media monitoring and social listening tools, and data storytelling.
- Fully utilize tools and platforms designed to automate and accelerate data collection, integration and analysis.
- Develop and apply strategic measurement frameworks to form the basis of ongoing performance assessment and optimization across paid, earned and owned channels.
- Define and develop audience insights and build consumer profiles including demographic, firmographic, and psychographic information using third party databases such as MRI-Simmons, GWI and Nielsen.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Environmental Studies or Sustainable Development, plus 3 years of experience in the position offered or as an insights and strategy analyst at a PR agency.
- All required experience must have included:
- Developing corporate reputation strategies and marketing insights focused on sustainability, environment, technology, and CPG groups;
- Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets;
- Managing or working with business analysts to interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques, media monitoring and social listening tools, and data storytelling;
- Developing and applying strategic measurement frameworks for performance assessment and optimization across paid, earned and owned channels;
- Defining and developing audience insights and building consumer profiles including demographic, firmographic, and psychographic information using databases MRI-Simmons, GWI and Nielsen; and

Responsibilities
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide day-to-day internal and client-facing workstream leadership
- Oversee other team member’s media work, to foster excellence and success
- Support client leadership team with internal and client-facing operations to help track against priorities, campaign deliverables and overall client alignment
- Develop a strong understanding of the client’s business and target audience
- Stay current on new and existing media coverage, as well as reporter moves and how to leverage for relationship building
- Source earned media results on behalf of the client – this includes identifying appropriate contacts, writing pitches, developing media lists, making follow up calls, etc. and overseeing junior team members with execution
- Monitor media outlets to understand industry issues that directly and indirectly affect the client
- Analyze and distill meaningful insights from media coverage

Qualifications
- 7–10 years of total experience, including 2+ years in an agency setting
- A beautiful portfolio that illustrates creative prowess, strategic thinking, and a mastery of visual design
- Deep experience in designing for digital across a range of media and touchpoints, including but not limited to enterprise websites, campaign microsites, mobile applications, web applications, and social campaigns. You can apply a strong understanding of a brand’s visual language, UI standards, and accessibility requirements to all that you create
- Extensive experience creating visually engaging brand design systems that live across multiple digital channels. You can create new brands from scratch or elevate existing brand systems.
- Experience developing high concept visuals for new business pitches
- Proven expertise in creating extensive atomic digital design systems for web and mobile
- Mastery of Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Apple Keynote
- Knowledgeable about emerging media, trends, and philosophies in design, technology, AI, and XR. Work that you have done in AI and XR is a huge plus!
