Operationalizing inclusion on all fronts
From sponsorship/mentorship programs to expanding Business Resource Groups (BRGs), fostering a culture of inclusion for all while delivering business impact.
Advancing our efforts…
Inclusion is one of our core values: we foster teams and environments built on belonging and an openness to possibility.
At The Weber Shandwick Collective, we are deeply committed to creating a culture where every employee feels valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work. Inclusion and Belonging are not just buzzwords for us; they are foundational principles that drive our culture and inform every decision we make.
Our commitment to inclusion guides how we engage with each other, our clients, and our community. It’s part of what drives creativity and bold, unexpected ideas- and it’s an engine of our vibrant culture and performance as a leading agency. And belonging is the outcome of inclusion. It’s what happens when we work to create an environment where people are welcomed, valued and empowered.
We drive growth by embedding belonging in every corner of our culture and inclusion in every aspect of our work.
Employees in local offices around the globe regularly meet and plan programming to encourage inclusion and engagement – from learning about different life experiences through cultural celebrations and Brave Spaces to employees providing pro-bono support to local non-profit organizations that engage with local organizations.
Our Business Resource Groups (BRGs) are open to all employees. They not only unite and support employees and allies across North America, but also focus on ways to make business impact. These include AFIRE (Asians for Inclusion, Respect and Equity), equitABLE (employees with disabilities and chronic illness), LIGA (Latino Inclusion & Guidance Alliance) NOIR (Nurturing Our Inclusion and Representation for Black employees) and Q+ (LGBTQIA+ employees).
Connecting Our Now and Next Executive and C-Level Talent (CONNECT) is a senior- level sponsorship program supporting our high-performing, high-potential leaders focused on inclusion.
We are excited to join Disability:IN alongside 500+ companies dedicated to advancing disability inclusion in the workplace. We believe in the mission of Disability:IN and look forward to continuing to work together to create inclusive environments for everyone on a global scale.
