This is the right opportunity for a creative and social media-savvy individual ready to dive headfirst into the fast-paced world of social media and influencer strategy at one of the largest agencies in the world, right here in the nation’s capital.

As the newest member of our collaborative team, you’ll bring your ✨passion✨ for all things social and make a real impact. You’ll work closely with both senior and junior staff across multiple teams, providing smart digital counsel while supporting day-to-day tasks for leading brands, nonprofits and government agencies alike. What You’ll Do All Day:

  • Create: Craft internal and external communications with clients and influencers that are clear, engaging, and strategic.
  • Research: Discover top influencers and identify the best fits for our clients and their brands.
  • Engage: Share bold, innovative ideas in brainstorms and team meetings.
  • Hustle: Communicate directly with influencers, handling everything from initial outreach to negotiations and content development.
  • Monitor: Track influencers’ performance and ensure positive online sentiment, reporting on final campaign metrics and insights.
  • Learn: Explore new social media trends, keep clients informed, and develop your skills by working with some of the best in the industry.

 

Who Are We Looking For?

We’re searching for a proactive team player with an insatiable curiosity for social media and desire to learn the ropes at an agency. The ideal candidate is an incredible multi-tasker who doesn’t shy away from a challenge, knows how to write, and has a deep love of all things internet. Bonus points if you already have some professional experience in social and influencer strategy under your belt.

 

Successful candidates will have exceptional project management skills (does your desk look like one of those restocking videos with next-level organization?), a versatile understanding of a range of industries, and a high level of enthusiasm that drives results.

Requirements:

  • Recent or soon to be college graduate or demonstrated transferable skills.
  • Understanding of social media and influencer strategy.

  • Availability: 40 hours a week from September to December.

Washington DC Salary range: $20.00 – $20.00

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIE

  • 3 years’ experience working in influencer marketing, preferably at an agency or in-house at a brand
  • Fluent in social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, emerging platforms) and adept at identifying talent trends
  • Understanding of the relationship between influencer content and paid media; experience coordinating with paid teams
  • Comfortable supporting influencer contracting and negotiations
  • Sharp project management skills — you’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
  • Culturally curious — you stay plugged into what’s trending, what’s next, and who’s shaping conversations

Responsibilities: 

  • Build social influencer strategies cross-functionally to align strategic efforts and priorities, and able to develop strategic outputs with little to no oversight. Collaborate closely with strategy, creative, paid and larger integrated agency teams to deliver program initiatives. 
  • Maintains strong connections with talent and management agencies to ensure quality relationships, reliability and quick turn asks.
  • Spearhead high profile activations and campaigns for some of our top lifestyle, consumer health, and CPG clients. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of our clients’ businesses and target audiences, and working in close collaboration with our Creative, Analytics and Client Experience teams, lead the creation and execution of integrated multi-platform campaigns that drive meaningful results 
  • Provide expert counsel to clients and colleagues on social/digital/influencer best practices
  • Serve as trusted voice on pop-culture, social trends and other cultural nuances for clients 
  • Lead end-to-end influencer procurement process from influencer recommendations to negotiations to servicing the partnerships.
  • Play a lead role in the agency’s Influencer center of excellence, which develops and manages key relationships with talent agencies and content creators, and institutionalizes a set of best-in-class tools and processes for identification, contract negotiation, content planning, measurement and ROI analysis
  • Collaborate effectively with inter-agency teams to develop holistic plans and fully integrated strategies for our clients
  • Lead a high-performing team; mentor and develop junior team members 

Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years of experience, preferably within an agency environment
  • Strong understanding of the overall media and social landscape, with an emphasis on digital  experience
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to develop relationships with influencers, creators, agencies, and other partners. 
  • Passion for tracking and understanding new trends in culture 
  • Deep expertise in managing influencer programs
  • Strong knowledge of social platforms, including paid amplification and campaign optimization
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnel analytics & KPIs
  • Familiarity with a broad set of social, media and influencer analytics tools
  • Detail-oriented, multi-tasker with excellent time-management skills
  • Strong written, verbal communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Experience leading a team is an asset
