Our Sustainability team is looking for an Account Director, Public Affairs to join us in our Brussels office. This is a great opportunity to have an impact on high-profile clients and to grow in a global, award-winning agency.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Focusing predominantly on Sustainability policies, with occasional support required in other fields such as Technology and Food and Agriculture;
  • Managing a client portfolio, being the client’s primary contact and ensuring quality and timeliness in the delivery of Public Affairs strategies and services against budget;
  • Working alongside the team lead to grow the existing client portfolio, including identifying potential new clients and leading in the development of new business proposals;
  • Managing accounts, leading on day-to-day client work, translating client needs into project plans, advising and supporting clients, ensuring that results are achieved and client’s overall objectives are met;
  • Under the leadership of senior staff, planning and implementing thought leadership campaigns, outreach programmes and organisation of events;
  • Contributing to marketing and business development efforts;
  • Supporting in attracting and developing junior staff, including line management responsibilities.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience. Previous experience in other EU Public Affairs agencies or in EU institutions is a bonus
  • An excellent understanding of the EU institutions and political dynamics surrounding sustainability policy
  • Strong business acumen and appreciation of the commercial impact of policy decisions
  • An entrepreneurial approach to client servicing and business development – with proven track record of business growth
  • A good network in Brussels within Sustainability policy
  • Capability as an advisor, including first class communication and writing skills
  • Ability to solve problems and exercise excellent judgment with the ability to think ‘outside of the box’
  • Understanding of agency financials and experience budgeting projects.
  • Dynamic team player and able to work in a high-performance environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to offer high-level advice on the spot

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’re a self-starter, you take pride in the responsibilities entrusted and you pursue nothing short of excellence. Most of all, you’re a team player and enjoy working together with others to achieve great things.

You have 1 to 2 years of experience working with media and beauty and lifestyle influencers in Singapore. You are a data-driven individual and enjoy turning data into impactful insights to inform or optimise campaigns for improved performance in the future.

EXPERIENCES GREAT FOR THE ROLE:

Influencer Marketing (50%)

  • A proven track record in working with social influencers in Singapore, with strong relationships especially for Beauty, Lifestyle brands.
  • You should be a social media native, actively participating and use platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and other relevant social media platforms in Singapore.
  • Experience in working with beauty and lifestyle brands to co-create content with KOLs, specifically to perform the functions of: (1) identifying and evaluating the right KOLs for your brands, (2) outreach and negotiations to confirm KOLs for campaigns, (3) develop content creation briefs that are aligned to brand asks and brief the KOLs afterwards, (4) review the content to ensure its aligned to the brief, (5) manage the posting with the KOLs, (6) as well as provide insightful evaluations of the campaign performance when it ends.
  • You also keep your fingers on the pulse with different social media trends, especially those related to the beauty/cosmetics and lifestyle category and are able to effectively ideate trend-jacking content co-creation ideas to leverage these trends.

 

Media relations (50%)

  • Good knowledge of local media landscape, coupled with good relationships with key lifestyle, news, and community Media in Singapore.
  • Ability to identify suitable media contacts within publications, for announcements and launches, as well as pitch to them to feature stories positively.
  • Able to develop interesting and differentiated pitch angles to make the stories relevant to the readers of the different media touchpoints.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience.
  • Passion for Beauty, Lifestyle and Consumer communications.
  • BA or BS in communications, business, marketing or related field.

  • Contribute to development of client tactical plans and cross-community implementation activities

We are looking for a strong Associate for the Consumer Practice in Atlanta who can support multi-channel campaigns and help bring to life some of the best in-culture ideas.

Are you a candidate with a passion for working in food, beverage and lifestyle, who is obsessed with studying the current media landscape and how stories travel across channels? Then this role is for you.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience and a background in consumer, consumer-tech, travel, fashion and/or CPG PR.
  • BA or BS in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or related field.
  • Strong experience with both large-scale and start-up business environments preferred.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills; verbal and written.
  • Contribution to earned media campaigns including thought leadership, product launches, earned-first creative campaigns, and more.
