Senior Associate, Client Experience
The Detroit office of Weber Shandwick is looking for an account leader to join our automotive practice to drive key client business, specifically in the social media space.
In this role, you will be responsible for thinking across channels and discipline to manage integrated engagements that are strategically rooted in our clients’ business and brought to life through creative social campaigns for owned and paid activations.
You’ll participate in new business development, engage with clients and colleagues around the world, help develop junior team members, and establish trusting relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
CLIENT AND WORK
- Liaises with clients and assists in client communications, including developing and coordinating routine account management materials, including timelines, activity reports, client documentation and project management support, as appropriate for size of account or office
- Partners with diverse, cross-functional teams, which includes Creative, Paid Media, and Analytics, to ensure strong execution of programs in support of the client business objectives
- Supports creative ideation on a consistent basis and provides thoughtful recommendations
- Supports influencer identification, coordination and management, including conducting research, coordinating activation logistics in partnership with our influencer experts and reviewing content
- Monitors, analyzes and helps develops integrated campaign reports, to identify opportunities for growth and strategic evolution
- Proactively identifies issues and recommends solutions based on category or competitive activity
- Keeps pace with social media / digital industry trends and developments
- Understand functionality and capabilities of social media platforms, to include Meta, Google/ YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest
- Post content across social media platforms

- Contributes to work plan of junior team members and helps guide their work
- Serves as role model to team members, producing high quality work and continually updating manager on activity progress

BUSINESS ACUMEN
- Grows understanding of financial aspects of accounts by supporting budget tracking, and maintaining fee and out-of-pocket trackers
- Supports a healthy account and business through accurate time entry
- Maintains a thorough understanding of clients’ business and industry
GROWTH AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Leverages understanding of client’s business to share ideas to help grow the account organically
- Participates in meetings to support new business development/organic business growth opportunities as directed, including capturing notes, recaps, research, updating trackers and timelines (proactive/reactive pitches)
Qualifications
- BA or BS in Journalism, Business, Communications, Advertising or related degree
- 3 – 4 years relevant experience required
- A passion for social media with and strong experience across top-tier business and technology outlets
- Strong verbal and written communications, team management and client management skills

Detroit Salary range: $58,700 – $62,000

Senior Manager, Client Experience Digital
The Sr. Manager, Analytics CX will have proven leadership and client service skills, and experience managing integrated digital programs. The candidate will be the day-to-day contact for clients, manage communications across a cross-functional agency team, and support flawless execution in the most efficient and productive way. Responsibilities:

– Proactively support and suggest improvements and new ideas to exceed client expectations by leveraging industry knowledge and experience
– Partner with internal finance team on overall financial management of the client (SOW development; monitoring and tracking deliverables and budgets; forecasting; change management and reporting)
– Coordinate integration with other agency partners – Manage ongoing team resourcing/staffing to ensure successful delivery of work product
– Be a proactive, agile and solution-oriented
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ Years of Experience in marketing, communications, or public relations
– Experience or educational background in the data or analytics field
– Strong project management skills and attention to detail – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Excellent client and team leadership qualities
– Able to build cooperative, effective relationships, facilitate communication and understanding among professionals across multiple levels. The ability to build consensus, anticipate problems and difficult situations, and develop workable strategies and solution
– Expert skills in scoping, pricing, and timeline development for complex, agile programs. Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively with established deadlines and pressure.

We’re currently seeking a Associate, B2B Marketing to join our team. The Associate operates efficiently within a group, executes assigned tasks independently, and is able to handle multiple projects/clients at a time. This individual will be responsible for initiatives across marketing, lead generation, social, and corporate accounts. Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience and a strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, advertising, program analytics, project management and digital strategy. The preferred candidate will have superb communications skills, a successful track record in developing and maintaining solid client relationships, the ability to be a self-starter and work well within a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary team, and strong writing skills for all types of materials and communications. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the execution of digital projects with the primary goal of achieving and exceeding clients’ marketing objectives
- Work with creative team to provide briefing materials to support the creation of digital creative
- Update status documents and project trackers on a regular basis

QUALIFICATIONS:
