We are looking for an Account Director with 7 to 10 years of Public Relations experience in the Technology (B2C and B2B) sector to act as the key client partner for the global organisations we represent. Additionally, having experience driving impactful communications programmes for consumer lifestyle brands (FMCG, Beauty, Retailers) will be a strong consideration point for the role. To succeed in the role, you would have deep experience developing and executing regional (APAC) and domestic media engagement strategies, alongside established relationships with tier 1 and 2 media titles that cover business and technology related news.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations or related field. At least 7 years of solid PR experience, ideally with clients that are technology and consumer lifestyle MNCs in the public and private sector.
  • Adept in various integrated communications executions (e.g.: social media, influencers, analyst relations, own, digital, paid etc.)

Weber Shandwick is looking for an Associate/ Senior Associate with integrated marketing and communications experience. In this role you would manage teams that represent our partners who are some of the largest, most influential organisations in the world.

You will play an important role ideating and executing impactful programmes for a leading luxury brand.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support account lead to manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis and implement local and regional communication strategies and program activities in conjunction with team members
  • Contribute to the development of client tactical plans and cross-community implementation activities
  • Effectively develop impactful social media advertising campaigns, execute and optimise the advertisements to achieve the KPIs set for our client partners
  • Facilitate cross functional teams’ integration
  • Organize and distill client briefs and requests into internal briefs for creative teams and other partners.
  • Execute social networking, media campaigns and blogger outreach
  • Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success
  • Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership on executional issues specific to assigned programs

 

PERSON PROFILE

  • Minimum 1-3 years of related working experience
  • Experience working in an agency environment is an added advantage
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to translate client needs into project plans
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong communication skills with the ability effectively build internal and external relationships
  • Collaborative
  • Business acumen
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Team leadership experience would be beneficial
  • Prior experience working with luxury and/or automotive brands will be an advantage

  • Has a deep background and proven ability to create and manage large events and communications projects
