Vos responsabilités comprendront, sans toutefois s’y limiter :

  • Contribuer à l’élaboration et à la réalisation de campagnes de relations publiques intégrées, innovantes et primées pour de grandes marques canadiennes et internationales
  • Travailler avec l’équipe des médias intégrés et les responsables des clients pour soutenir le développement et la mise en œuvre de stratégies et de propositions pour les médias sociaux et les influenceurs et influenceuses
  • Déterminer et établir des relations avec les médias, les influenceurs et influenceuses ainsi que les créateurs et créatrices de contenu afin de donner vie aux histoires de notre clientèle en faisant appel à des voix crédibles et dignes de confiance
  • Identifier de nouveaux débouchés et de nouvelles plateformes, ainsi que des moyens créatifs de propulser une communication narrative de premier plan pour le compte de notre clientèle
  • Surveiller les médias, comprendre les enjeux sectoriels qui touchent directement ou indirectement notre clientèle, puis analyser et dégager des informations pertinentes à partir de la couverture médiatique et des conversations sociales
  • Suivre les dossiers et contribuer à l’élaboration de messages stratégiques face aux risques potentiels d’atteinte à la réputation de notre clientèle
  • Élaborer et faire le suivi des IRC appropriés pour mesurer le succès des campagnes et le retour sur investissement pour notre clientèle
  • Participer à des initiatives, des séminaires et des réunions au sein de l’agence afin de favoriser l’apprentissage et le perfectionnement professionnel

 

Vos compétences clés :

  • Environ deux à trois ans d’expérience, idéalement au sein d’une agence, en communication ou en marketing
  • Connaissance du monde numérique jumelée à une bonne compréhension de l’ensemble des médias et du paysage des médias sociaux
  • Capacité avérée à obtenir une couverture médiatique et à générer des conversations pour le compte de marques, d’organisations, d’entreprises ou d’autres institutions
  • Bonne connaissance des bases de données des médias et des influenceurs et influenceuses, ainsi que des outils et des ressources des journalistes
  • Méthode de travail bien organisée, volontaire et capable de s’adapter à des délais, des demandes et des résultats en constante évolution
  • Solides compétences en matière de communication écrite et orale, de présentation, de collaboration et de résolution de problèmes
  • Diplôme en communication ou dans une discipline connexe
  • Expérience de travail dans le cadre de programmes nationaux et de programmes destinés au marché québécois

Key Qualifications:

  • Approximately 2-3 years of experience, ideally in an agency, communications or marketing environment
  • Digitally savvy, with a good understanding of the overall media and social media landscape
  • Proven ability to garner coverage and conversation on behalf of brands, organizations, companies or other institutions
  • Familiarity with media and/or influencer databases, journalist-led tools and resources
  • A working style that is self-motivated, well-organized and resilient to ever-changing timelines, requests and deliverables
  • Strong written, verbal communication, presentation, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • A degree in communications or a related discipline
  • Has experience working on National as well as Quebec-specific programming
  • Ideal candidate must be bilingual to support on National clients who execute in both French and English markets

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts, pitching story ideas, and securing media coverage for the company or clients
  • Work with the team to develop successful earned media strategies, including goals and objectives, media targets, pitch angles and engagement approaches
  • Write and edit press releases, media kits, and other communication materials, ensuring they align with brand messaging
  • Track media coverage, analyze press mentions, and report on the effectiveness of media campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement

Account Director, Media Relations - Healthcare

We are seeking an Account Director to join our Media Relations team within our Health Practice in Chicago. As a Director, you will be responsible for managing client, media and inter-agency relationships, playing a critical role in determining the future and long-term success of our Health practice.

You will be responsible for all aspects of a client relationship and account team as it relates to earned media. You will supervise major pieces of business and team members. Other responsibilities include recommending programs and activities, coordinating with clients’ goals, effectively delegating projects, offering counsel to team members, and allocating agency resources to match client budgets.

You are also engaged with business development, strategic program planning, and the development of creative concepts. Ideally, you will have consumer health experience and a proven track record of managing branded and unbranded consumer campaigns with media and third party partnerships.
