THE HAGUE – 7 February, 2011– Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s leading global public relations firms, today announced the appointment of senior public affairs expert Wanda Cornelissen to lead its Energy & Infrastructure practice in The Hague.
Wanda Cornelissen has extensive experience in the energy and maritime fields, both private and public sector, and is a member of the Dutch delegation of Women’s Representatives at the Committee for Sustainable Development of the United Nations.
Prior to joining Weber Shandwick, Wanda was head of government relations and manager, corporate external relations at Shell Nederland B.V. for 10 years. Before Shell, Wanda was head of public affairs at the Municipal Port Authority Rotterdam.
“I am thrilled at the prospect of providing regulatory and reputational counsel for clients and look forward to working alongside Weber Shandwick’s public affairs, corporate and digital experts.
