About the Role

We are seeking a creative Visual Content Creator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling and adept at producing engaging social media-first content across various digital platforms. This role involves conceptualising, creating and editing content that aligns with our brand’s voice and objectives.

 

If you live for social media, enjoy creating content, shooting and editing on mobile, while possess experience shooting with DSLRs or equipment similar, this role is for you!

 

Key responsibilities:

Content Strategy & Ideation:

  • Develop and execute content strategies aligned with brand objectives across multiple social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn.
  • Stay updated on platform-specific trends to inform content planning.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative content ideas.

 

Content Creation:

  • Produce high-quality content that may or may not be shot on mobile, for videos and static design images for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Adapt content to suit the unique requirements and best practices of each platform.
  • Utilise tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, or similar for content creation and editing.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in content creation for agencies, own company/freelance, or in-house for a similar role for 1-2 years, with a portfolio showcasing a range of content types.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with ability to bring them to life visually.
  • Experience with video production, including shooting and editing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Preferably with a background in marketing, communications, or a related field.

We are looking for someone who has sufficient knowledge of the media landscape, and some experience in PR and communications, especially in the corporate/ sustainability space, having kept abreast of the latest policies, developments and trends in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support account leads to manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis
  • Implement local and global PR strategies, plan and develop PR collaterals (e.g. communication guidelines, press releases, press kits, newsletters, etc.) for key product launches, brand news and thought leadership
  • Monitor and track client, competitor, industry and cultural news and prepare coverage reports
  • Support account lead with planning and development of corporate and sustainability-related initiatives and collaterals for our clients that covers traditional and social media.
  • Support account lead with influencer management, social activations and content creation.
  • Provide media relations support – conducting research, building target media lists, drafting media materials, pitching to journalists, and managing media relationships and opportunities
  • Prepare timely team and client updates on all stages of project processes; prepare accurate and thorough conference call or client meeting recaps
  • Assist and contribute to the development of long-term strategic clients plans and program recommendations, developing budgets, generating recommendations and creating presentations
  • Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success
  • Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership on executional issues specific to assigned programs

 

Skills, Experiences and Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sustainability communications, public relations, or corporate communications, preferably in a consultancy or agency setting. Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Senior Associate role.
  • Knowledge of the communications and sustainability industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Dedication to details and have a sense of responsibility
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to work under tight timelines
  • International outlook or experience favorably considered
