We are looking for someone who has sufficient knowledge of the media landscape, and some experience in PR and communications, especially in the corporate space, having kept abreast of the latest policies, developments and trends in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Support account lead to manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis and implement local and regional communication strategies and program activities in conjunction with team members
- Monitor and track client, competitor, industry and cultural news and prepare coverage reports
- Provide media relations support – conducting research, building target media lists, drafting media materials, pitching to journalists, and managing media relationships and opportunities
- Demonstrate ability to develop strategies/ creative platforms and concepts that simultaneously leverage traditional and new media for our clients
- Prepare timely team and client updates on all stages of project processes; prepare accurate and thorough conference call or client meeting recaps
- Assist and contribute to the development of long-term strategic clients plans and program recommendations, developing budgets, generating recommendations and creating presentations
- Identify opportunities for agency/ team learning and develop tools/ suggestions to expand agency knowledge and understanding of digital communications
- Execute social networking, media campaigns and blogger outreach
- Proactively generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success
- Anticipate and proactively offer solutions to senior team leadership on executional issues specific to assigned programs
Skills, Experiences and Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience working in an agency environment
- Sound knowledge of the industry with experience in PR and communications in corporate practice
- Some media relations experience and contacts
- Dedication to details and sense of responsibilities
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work under tight timelines
- Keen to develop your career in the PR industry and value professionalism

The Role and Responsibilities
- Leads/manages multiple integrated work streams and partners with client leads to deliver on time/on budget work;
- Drives development of tactical plans, translating strategies into tactics, ensuring high quality deliverables align with strategies
- Demonstrates a thorough understanding of how to design and implement public affairs campaigns on behalf of government, corporate and trade association clients, with an emphasis on highly-regulated industries
- Applies working knowledge of communications to manage policy communications strategies on behalf of clients
- Actively participates in the development and implementation of program recommendations
- Supports new business pitch content creation and organic business growth efforts (proactive/reactive)
- Contributes to marketing and business development efforts;
- Mentors junior staff;
What We’re Looking For
- 3-6 years relevant working experience. Previous experience in a public affairs role in-house, in consultancy or experience working in the EU institutions is preferable.
- A passion for external affairs and policy, supported by a curious mind and a strong interest in healthcare issues
- Applied experience and understanding of the EU institutions and political dynamics surrounding healthcare policies.
- Strong business acumen and appreciation of the commercial impact of policy decisions
- Capability as an advisor, including first class communication and writing skills
- An entrepreneurial approach to client servicing and business development
- Dynamic team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills

Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our team in Seoul. In this role, you will support the development and execution of communication strategies for our high-profile client. You’ll be working with a large Korean HQ business, supporting their global commuications strategies and partnering with stakeholders and colleagues across the Weber Shanwick network. Fluency in Korean and English is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creatin of press materials, including press releases and media kits.
- Support day-to-day communications with clients and help manage client expectations.
- Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and influencers.
- Monitor media coverage and track industry trends.
- Help coordinate events and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with team members to execute integrated communication campaigns.
Qualifications
- Ideally at least 2 years of experience in public relations or communications (internships included).
- Previous experience in an agency would be advantageous
- Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

We are looking for a motivated, creative and enterprising Digital Manager to join our digital team – working across a varied range of clients across consumer, healthcare and technology.
As a Manager in our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive digital communication strategies to enhance our clients’ online presence and reputation, plan and oversee digital and paid media campaigns, conceptualize creative digital activations and measure & deliver strategic insights through our powerful social and analytics tools.
What you’ll be doing
- Work with our strategists and creatives to conceptualise impactful campaigns and digital communications strategies that live across the digital ecosystem
- Plan, manage and optimize paid media advertising campaigns, ensuring they align with our overall marketing and business goals.
- Be comfortable with an array of digital platforms for content and amplification (e.g. social media , SEM, web content management etc.)
- Analyze and interpret social analytics to guide strategy development and decision making.
- Oversee and manage digital projects from conception to execution, ensuring they meet deadlines and budget requirements.
- Collaborate with our cross-functional teams to ensure all digital communications are cohesive and align with overall clients’ goals.
- Stay current with latest industry trends and advancements to keep our digital projects ahead of the curve.
What we’re looking for
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role within communications consultancies or agencies.
- Proven experience in managing paid media advertising, SEM, social analytics
- Exceptional understanding of digital communications strategy and the ability to implement it effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable plans.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with diverse teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficient English, any level of French and Dutch appreciated but not required.
